2020 Vice President

Kevin Kang

1. What unique values, skills, events, or traditions will you bring to the table and your position if elected as an ASB officer for your class?
Hey! My name is Kevin Kang and I’m running to be your Senior Class Vice President! Elected, I will continue to support our great traditions along with the addition of new fun activities! My out of the box thought process will bring fresh exciting events and traditions for years to come. Although I do not have previous ASB experience, I believe I am very well qualified because of my strong work ethic and passionate drive. My former experiences as camp counselors and captain in team sports have taught me how to be a leader and how to work well with others. I promise to make prioritize the class’s ideas ahead of my own. I will listen to all problems, big or small, and help you under any circumstances. As Vice President, I will support my not only my president but the entire school 110%. Thank You!

1. What unique values, skills, events, or traditions will you bring to the table and your position if elected as an ASB officer for your class?
Hello! My name is Hyun Kim and I am a running for the position of Vice President for the Class of 2020. I enjoy swimming, spending times outdoors with my friends, and dancing. With a couple years of ASB under my belt, I have experience in serving our school through the Associated Student Body. Additionally, while being heavily involved with the California Association of Student Councils for the past 3 years, I have the skills and strengths to fulfill my responsibilities as Vice President. If elected, I will bring steady values and traditions to our class. Leadership has always been my strength, and to spread the values that branch from leadership is something that I will strive to do in the upcoming year. The skill I value most is the ability to work efficiently with others. Teamwork is so important and is imperative to a student council’s success.
In the next school year, one of the things that I want to do most is to unite our class. I want to build healthy relationships among different social groups within our school. Whether that means relaxing class bondings, exciting lunchtime activities, or a connected class committee, I will do the most to make my aspirations for our grade come true. By allowing me to have your vote, we take the next step towards a brighter, more unified class. Let’s make our last year in high school memorable and worthwhile.

1. What unique values, skills, events, or traditions will you bring to the table and your position if elected as an ASB officer for your class?
Hi everyone! My name is Cole Fox and I am running to be next year’s senior Vice President! I have had the BEST time serving as vice president this year, and cannot imagine do anything else for our last year of high school… last year….thank goodness! Can you guys believe it?! We are approaching our senior year, and after that we start life as adults! But before we get there we all are going to be stressed out with school work and college applications (if that is the route you are choosing), so let me help take some of that senior stress off of you all by serving as your vice president, and making our senior year one to remember! I am extremely outgoing and am not afraid to give my input in leadership meetings, or in meetings with Ms. Anderson and Mr. Speck. I am currently working with the Student Site Council to repair the hand dryers in the bathrooms so that we can reduce our use of paper towels for the benefit of the environment. I am also currently working extremely hard to plan an amazing Prom, and am keeping you all updated on school events through the SPHS Class of 2020 Instagram page. I made a choice when I was much younger to truly live my life with the belief that the glass is always half full, which I know has helped me greatly through my time in ASB, and has helped keep myself and the people around me feeling positive and hopeful for the future. I am a lover of life, however I don’t always love school, which is one of the many reasons I want to be a representative of our class, and work my booty off to help create an environment that we can all love, ok maybe not love, but tolerate and not dread going to. Please throw your support to me, for I will never be afraid to speak up and speak to everyone about what we can do to make school a happy, healthy and a less stressful environment. Thank you, and I look forward to speaking with you all during campaign week! Have an awesome day!
